Masala Lassi (Spiced Yogurt Drink)

Summer is synonymous with refreshing coolers and mocktails. A nice picnic on the beach or a backyard barbecue party, that's what summer is for. Fun in the sun!
But as important it is to enjoy this bright weather, it is equally important to remain hydrated and cool. There are so many fruits which are a go to for the chill. Yogurt is one of the very beneficial forms of milk. It helps to curb acidity and also give you a refreshing satisfaction. In India, during summers, Lassi (Yogurt smoothie) is a regular cooling drinks at homes. Whether sweet or salty, this is a very versatile ingredient and can be modified according to one's taste buds and mood.
Today, I have made a spiced yogurt drink wherein the yogurt is blended with coriander, mint, spices, water & ice! Mint being the star ingredient. Do give it a try and rejuvenate yourself with this healthy drink on a hot day 😊
Ingredients:
Yogurt- 1 cup
Water- 3.5 cups
Ice cubes- 1 cup
Mint leaves- 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves- 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds- 1 tsp (Dry roasted)
Cumin powder- 1 tsp
Crushed Black pepper- 1 tsp
Pink Salt- 1 tsp
Salt- 1/2 tsp
Method:
1. In a blender, add yogurt, mint leaves, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, cumin powder, salt, pink salt and crushed pepper and blend until smooth.
2. Add water and ice and blend until the ice is crushed.
3. Serve chilled and stir before drinking.
